Feb 15, 2005 Gametapes Launches New Website
Just four months after its launch, Seattle-based Gametapes.com will be rolling out a new look for its website, the fast-growing online store for high school sports DVDs.
A major feature of the new website will be a search facility that allows visitors to find the game of their choice easily and quickly. Whether searching by team name, state, sport or any keyword, high school and youth sports fans will be able to find what they’re looking for from the comfort of their homes.
The new site, which launches on 20 February, will also feature a Message Board where sports fans can swap home video footage, discuss the latest Gametapes’ products and stay in touch with each other.
Gametapes’ Tim Exton said, “The new website is a store window, through which people can see our fast-growing catalogue of high school and youth sports products. We believe that we’re creating a community that will allow players, coaches and fans to watch a greater variety of games than ever before.”
Gametapes new site was designed and built by Over the Turnstile, a web design consultancy based in Seattle and with considerable experience of the sports/fitness sector.
